MY PROCESSWhenever I begin a design project I first take time to ensure I clearly understand the goals for the finished product and the client. Once I have a firm grasp on what is needed, I research how best to accomplish that visually. I look for other examples, talk with the client about their ideas and expectations, and will often provide various mock-ups before working on a finalized product. I will look for industrial trends in style of design and fonts and share my suggestions and expertise when needed throughout the process. Then, after the product is shared with the client, I ask for feedback and tweak as needed.
I think it's important to gather as much information up front and stay open throughout the creative process of any project. A designer's job is to understand and share another's vision and then bring that vision to life. I approach every project with excitement, determination, and a willingness to try out new ideas. |
