MY INSPIRATIONI have always been drawn to writing. I wrote and illustrated my own book at the age of five and finished my first novel at sixteen. While creative writing was my first love, I pursued a degree in journalism, hoping that one day I could use my love for writing to report on issues that matter and have a greater impact on people's lives and worldviews.
For my fiction writing, I am inspired most by nature and history. I enjoy writing within the science fiction and fantasy genres because I believe they offer the ability to explore more deeply our own world in a way that general fiction cannot. |
